Who Am I?
I’m a web developer who has been building websites when we were still worried about Y2K 
I started working with WordPress in 2008, and have been using it professionally in the 15 years since.

Clear Communication: The worst things when working with remote teams are when communication is unclear and inconsistent. I ensure timely updates and detailed communication.
Long-term Experience: I have been working continuously as a web developer as a solopreneur, in small teams, and as part of agencies for close to two decades.
Ethical Tech: I focus on building websites and tools that are accessible, user-first, and with marginalized groups and their challenges in mind.
Experience
As a Developer
As a web craftsman, I offer a suite of services designed to meet the diverse needs of my clients. Whether you’re in need of a custom website built from scratch or a tailored WordPress site with all the bells and whistles, I’ve got you covered.
- Custom WordPress Themes: I have designed and developed countless custom themes for individual clients, and have a theme on the WordPress.org repo for download, named Velox.
- WordPress Plugins: Similarly, I’ve written custom plugins for my clients, allowing them to do things like use custom blocks for reusable content and display and sell products in unique ways. While most of my plugins are one-offs for individual use, I do have a few on the WordPress.org repo as well.
- WordPress Integrations: What if you are using a third party tool that you want to connect to WordPress? I’ve done that as well, creating custom content import/export tools for real estate agencies and rental firms, wholesalers and distributors, and other industries.
- WordPress Maintenance: I focus on WordPress site maintenance and ongoing support via my service FixUpFox. I prefer building relationships with others where I can become familiar with and more responsive to their needs over time.
As an Educator
- Taught online courses for Learn Web Development, including pre-recorded classes and live webinars. I also responded to student questions
- Created courses for individual companies, as well as for platforms like Skillshare (albeit out of date at this point)
- Co-organized the WordPress Orlando Meetup since 2011
- Co-organized the annual WordPress conference WordCamp Orlando since 2012 (until start of pandemic)
- Taught in person web development courses for Valencia College for two years as an adjunct
- Given dozens of presentations on WordPress, web development, and web ethics
