A bit about inktober, election, posters, Grand Rapids

What an eventful two weeks!

I made a vlog yesterday to talk about it, but long story short:

  • I finished my Inktober drawings and videos. 34 different Pokémon in my not-that-great drawing style. But It’s done. I’ll have galleries up soon.
  • I did put up galleries of my 2020, 2022, and 2024 daily photo challenges on a new subsite of my personal site: https://den.david.garden/daily-photo-gallery/
  • Our trip to Grand Rapids was relaxing, as well as fulfilling with an SUV donation to a queer youth services organization, and a volunteer project.
  • I have three poster designs that I’m finishing to get printed for sale. I wish that I did this a month ago!
  • I did election volunteering on Tuesday. Florida didn’t go how I’d have liked, but the national results are a lot better.

Enjoy the vlog and the various shares for this week. And remember to take care of yourselves 💝

Obviously this is a different beast, but I can see the future where AI doesn’t take away coding, but changes the skill set for doing so.

Letting abusers of information take away information for everyone else is not the way to go.

How bout that internet – Hannah Gadsby
I think that people thought that I, an autistic person on the internet, was making fun of autistic people by quoting from this bit.

why does your “Watch Later” keep growing? – Pillar of Garbage
I try really hard to keep mine from growing. On YouTube at least. I can’t say that I’m successful everywhere else 😅

You can’t define what culture changes over time are acceptable to everyone. But I wouldn’t take RHPS away from the queer community.

Angie Nixon didn’t win Florida (which is my main bummer from Tuesday), but this conversation is still a hopeful look toward the future.
