Another week of stickers and fur

I’d like to share more sticker designs like I did last week, but I’ve got a lot of designs partly complete, fewer ready for print. Speaking of printing though, I’ll be printing more of my existing designs this weekend so that I know that some merch is ready to go for Megaplex.

I’ve started designing my table! While I’m doing Artist Alley and we only get a small table, I still want to make it look nice. Since my shop is Barks’ Cafe, I want my table to be themed like a cafe. I’ve got some ideas on displaying things in coffee cups, using a chalkboard style sign, and more. I figure I’ll try to design it in a few weeks so that I can be prepared in advance. Everything is prepared in advance! (I hope 🀣)

This week I did a bit more fursuit sewing. I am still nervous to get it finished, both for timing and for how it will look. But I also think that I’m going to be happier with my first try than I should expect. I’ve gotten zig zag markings and spots on it!

In non-crafting space, I have some new work this week that will be keeping me more busy. I’m certainly happy for paid work, but I also need to balance out the things that I’ve promised myself to get done for what has rapidly become the most important event of the year for me. It’ll be good to focus more on coding though, as I don’t want those projects to fall by the wayside. I still have fun things to make after all!

Anyway, time to get to work, see yall next week!

Memes, to transmit efficiently, necessarily need to be removed from context. It’s no surprise that we end up using harmful language.

The more that we’re surveilled and fed misleading views of the world, the harder it is to bone.

Lol this article sucks so bad. Literally making the (poorly constructed) case that Leftists bad because they don’t want to be in constant debate with Wrongists.

I was expecting this to be another “let’s gawk at the worst of the worst of the Furry Fandom”, but instead it was a celebration of some really talented artists and their horror inspired fursuit designs.

Yet again, a way to means-test specific groups of people to help rich get richer.

A cartoon that sounds like it’s worth watching to me πŸ˜œπŸ²πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

A cartoon that is another gay furry thing, but very different 😈

I wish that we had more Lina Khan’s in the government. And not having them pushed out before they can do more long-term good.

Making public promises is easy, and can earn lots of goodwill. Keeping those promises without lots of caveats is apparently too hard.

Some of us have known that she held shitty views for years, but at least more folks are aware of it now and can make decisions based on that to not give her more money.

I can’t imagine how hard it’d be to make electronics that look like a normal cable, and do so at a price of far less than thousands of dollars per cable like the government would spend.

If you made it this far, why not share this newsletter with a friend? Or share with me some of the things that you found that you liked this week. Either way, I’m thrilled!
