I still am catching up on things. Like I’ve already pushed off a coaching call that involves some pair programming and Laravel, but then I didn’t catch up on it in time for the reschedule.
I’ve also been meaning to go through the 800+ photos that I took while on vacation to get about 100 of them to make a photo blog post from. I’m getting there, but sorting, categorizing, cropping, editing, adding alt text, and more are just too much for me to do while I have more pressing things to get to first. That said, it is coming this week!
(actually, it’s here now! More because I was slow on the newsletter than fast on the blog post)
Outside of travel and blogging, I’m trying to keep myself going on work. For whatever reason, the twin issues of AuDHD and Depression have been weighing on me a lot lately. I’ve been given more work to do, which I definitely need. But then getting myself to focus hard enough to complete that work in a timely manner is another thing entirely.
I don’t really have a great fix for this. I’ve been trying to improve a variety of habits, and can say that I feel like I’m moving in a good direction. But it’s hard to ignore that there is still backwards movement along with the forward momentum.

Reddit has been really good at PR and making folks forget how they are actively battling against the very communities that make them valuable. Sounds like WordPress to me!
At some point there seems to be little reason to keep source closed on software. Who knows what interesting ideas have been lost to time
Well, maybe they’ll have learned their lesson? …right?

I never really gave thought to how these devices work, but it makes sense. Albeit, extremely confusing to someone like myself 
Puppet History and Brennan Lee Mulligan? It seems so obvious, but still so entertaining.
If the Pokémon world was our real world, I could imagine some really dark things happening.
The creators also posted a Making Of video about this, and there’s even more thought gone into it than I expected!
