I’m a bit late on the weekly newsletter because I’ve been social! And also figuring that since I’ll not do one this week thanks to Thanksgiving in the US, there’ll be a more equal split between them.
I’m thankful for my husband, my partners, my friends, and everyone who has been kind to others this year.
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking on what the next year will bring. For myself, at least. I think that we can all agree that this year has been an escalation of a lot of terrible things, and sometimes it feels like there’s no end in sight.
I remember a phrase that has been part of my life for quite a long time. This Too Shall Pass. All things, good or bad, will not last. I also take that to mean that it’s worth trying things, because it’s usually better than not having tried at all.
I don’t know what the next year will be like, but as I celebrate Thanksgiving with those closest to me, I’m looking forward to a positive turning point, where we see a light at the end of a tunnel to a brighter future with one another.
I’m thankful as well for all of you who follow along with me, and as always, I want to hear from you, and for what you are thankful for!

I saw them at Aquatifur! And I like their positions, as well as a candidacy that stays true to the candidate, not a party.
This is kind of bonkers. Surely this can’t represent the thoughts of Silicon Valley as a whole… right?
A strongman dictator calling for the death of his political enemies should be dealt with as seditious behavior, right?

Ashly Burch is doing a puppet series on anxiety and finding therapists, and I’m here for it. So cutely made, and helpful info!
This movie is cute and fun, and honestly could do a lot better if it was made now. Furries would eat it up.
Everything is broken, nothing works right, and we all just put up with it.
I have this dream! Even when it sounds really ridiculous being read back to me in a video, it still seems possible somehow.
I actually was surprised that this started with an indirect nod to furries, even if the host never says the word.

Is it really secret? I guess for folks who aren’t tech curious
I had multiple friends who claimed to invent the term “tight” to describe something cool
This has been going around my feeds for a few weeks. I like the creativity of the stop motion, hand drawn animation and real-world setup for the video.
If you made it this far, why not share this newsletter with a friend? Or share with me some of the things that you found that you liked this week. Either way, I’m thrilled!
