I am heading to WordCamp Montclair this weekend, and have my presentation ready to go. I’ll be sharing on my site soon and will link the presentation here next week.
In the meantime, I’ve been working on some plugins. I did a few touch ups on Pawsome Portfolios, and I’m near ready with v1.0 of my Digital Garden plugin.
I’ve once again been thinking of methods of monetization on projects so I can diversify my income a bit and make up for maintenance work clients. I want to offer my plugins as widely as possible, but also see the value in providing something that people can choose to pay for.
I have no idea if this is the kind of work that people would support in a patron style at all, where those who appreciate can donate but everyone can get them for free. That’d be my preferred method, if it seems like it would be financially viable.
Yet again, stuck in loops thinking on this. In the meantime, I’m happy to share any of the code that I make with yall.

I agree with Kye, that we shouldn’t let ActivityPub alone be how we handle federated social media, considering how it wasn’t quite meant for the way that it’s been used by Mastodon.

Video game horror (that is, creepypasta style horror for normal games, not horror video games specifically) is unsurprisingly an interest of mine. I just like how the internet twists horror up and repurposes it, and when people make actual game assets to go with it, the immersion makes it even better.

If you have not seen gameplay of Indigo Park, it looks amazing as a work of passion from skilled furry game devs. The ending song for chapter one is very Portal-esque, and super catchy.
This artist just showed up in my recommendations and I’m glad that they did, since every song has been good!
