well, it’s been a while. Every week that I went without making a vlog or newsletter, the more guilty that I felt.
I know that breaks are good and helpful and healthy. I know that none of this matters, and if my absence in these few ways was even noted, it was negated by the other ways that I am reachable.
The lack of ambition has carried over to all other parts of my life. I’m not feeling creative. Or at least not enough to sit down and actually create. Sitting down instead makes my back ache, makes my mind wander, and makes me avoid any forward momentum that I know would ultimately improve myself. As I’m writing this, I’ve got a timer set to try to keep myself on task, and I can’t stop yawning and wanting to take a nap. I woke up an hour ago.
I’m hopeful that I’m just in the lower end of the energy and motivation cycle, and now I’m starting to climb back up. I know that it’s not like I’ve done nothing at all in the past month, even if it feels like it. Even putting together this short vlog required so much more effort than it should have, but at least it exists.
So, I’m back, and I presume I’ll be staying back for a bit. I need some push for growth, and I need a bit more meaning for it. I still want to do all of the things, and my brain still tells me that it’s doable somehow.
I’ve just gotta clear up my mind. That’s doable, right?
