I’m back! And I’m glad that you’re here with me 🥰
This week hasn’t been much forward progress with projects, personal or professional. I am working on improving this at least.
I’ve also been drawing a bit more again. I know that I should be practicing daily, but it’s another activity that just enters my mind and sticks as something that I should be doing, without actually doing it.
Much of my newslettering lately has been short and clipped. I think that it’s related to a general feeling of lack of focus. For a personal peek, I finally have been getting some doctor visits out of the way, and next week I finally make it back to a mental health doc. And discussing my ADHD meds is the main focus.
I think that we need grounding in our lives to have some focus. There’s a sense that I get that when I have more things on my plate with firm deadlines, I get more done. It’s like a flywheel, tightening up with each task and when it lets loose, it spins fast!
It would be nice if I could prime this flywheel with more directly paid projects. It has still been a struggle to find that, and I think that my personal mental state is a big blocker there.
I’m going into the weekend ready to celebrate a friend’s birthday and I’ll put the heavy thinking on the backburner for a day or two. But I’ll still be drawing. For Fun!
Enjoy your weekend, and take care of yourselves

The height of the correspondence class was a fun time in postal world. Better than every newsletter that you didn’t even sign up for.
It’s not great, but at least a reminder that “think of the children” is even more pointless of a reason to mess up the internet more.
Suuuuuure, sure sure sure. Not a scam or stolen at all.

It’s more than half as interesting. It’s fully interesting to this linguistics nerd.
Some people don’t like the remake, some people don’t like the new character designs. I am just glad that Star Fox is a thing again for a new generation, because I adore this game.

I presumed this was a simpler story than it was, but I guess everyone is a bit wrong here.
I didn’t really consider that the method of keeping folks into chatbots is similar to how cult leaders keep members invested.
Everyone is playing pretend, but we somehow get duped into thinking that it’s real.
If you made it this far, why not share this newsletter with a friend? Or share with me some of the things that you found that you liked this week. Either way, I’m thrilled!
