I’ve wanted to do this for a while, but admittedly found it hard to look at and listen to myself enough to do proper editing on longer videos. Something to work on!
I made an intro video this week, so that folks new to my YouTube channel could get an idea of what I’m trying to do.
I really want to improve my editing, so that things look a bit more dynamic and fun. The hard part is that this really cuts into the actually doing things to record, and I don’t want to become a full-time editor. More like a full-time creator who shoots and edits their own videos.
When I did my Inktober series I used a promo month of CapCut pro to make it easier. And that did help! But I’m pretty sure that I can use the free version to do most everything that I’d want. I also have used Davinci Resolve, but admittedly, it gives me far too many options to want to do simple videos with.

There’s no point in showing the hypocrisy of what he’s doing, because he clearly does not give a shit and just wants to destroy the world.
Reminder: the folks bringing back the old internet are also the folks who destroyed it for capital gain. There’s no reason to think that this is more than a cynical ploy.
