it’s me, with a slightly new name!

Hark! A new domain! I know, I’ve been talking about changes to my website for months (years even) and they are finally finally on their way. That’s what I get for waiting until what feels like last minute.

Hopefully you are getting this email to your inbox or newsletter folder and not to spam. I don’t know how well the “mark as good/save to your contacts” it is, but in case you need to, the domain for the site is now david.garden, but the email is still coming from inbox@davidwolfpaw.com

I’ve considered swapping to this domain for a while, and finally bought and set it up this weekend. I’ve always loved short domain names and fun TLDs, and I have been wanting to press myself into keeping a public Digital Garden.

Also! I have a new site coming up, and new business and personal cards coming in time for WordCamp US next week. I’ll probably send another newsletter at the end of the week to share that before I leave town for a week of WordPress nerdery.

‘Full circle’: Why some high school seniors are going back to school with kindergarten backpacks – Kate Perez, USA Today

Look at my backpack, which I spent far too much time hunting down and curating the contents and design of, and tell me that it is not great. I will be taking no further questions.

Unionizing the Skies with Sara Nelson – Factually! – 222

The first fifteen minutes of this conversation broke my heart at least three times. Both in a negative way of how terrible things can be, and in a positive way for how we can all fight together for our rights and win.
