it’s been a busy while here, and I keep feeling like there’s always more and more. But I also feel like I’m getting things more under control.
One thing that I’ve been doing to handle things is rebuilding a Notion dashboard for myself. I’m doing a bit of CSS tweaking to make it look a bit nicer, and it’s really frustrating how Notion refuses to attach IDs or classes to almost any element on the page. So I’ve got some precarious style rules that will probably break with any update. But for now it’s pretty!
I still have a lot of work to do to make it look clean internally and add my Quick Add tools. I want to finish that this week, so that I can share a blank template version of this Notion dashboard with anyone who wants to use it. If you have interest in this, please let me know so that I can get some feedback!
I have been excited by the ideas of some new videos lately, and have been drafting a script. It turns out this stuff is hard! So I’ll see you next week, and for now I’ll be getting back to work on that.

If Starbucks will stop fighting at a handful of stores in one city, just roll these changes out worldwide. Give employees reasons to stay.
This is not where I thought that this story would go at all. I was a bit familiar with the end-point, but not with the bread tabs that paved the way.
I feel like Zoe Bee took some of the private conversations that I have with folks and made them into a good Youtube videos. Without imagination, we can’t imagine how things could be different.

A new podcast concerning the 2014 terrorist attack at MFF in Chicago. Don’t remember that event? That’s fair, since the news covered it so poorly, thanks to the victims being furries at a con. Again, there was a terrorist chemical gas attack at a hotel in a major city in the USA that hospitalized 19 individuals, post 9/11, that is basically unheard of.
