Sometimes we don’t get to everything that we want to. That happens to be on a very regular basis
I’m thinking on this because I’m part of a small goal accountability group, where we weekly share what we accomplished in the previous week from our list, what we need to postpone, and what our list of goals for the current week is. While I put a bit of work into my list from last week, I did not complete a single goal there.
What I did do however was a lot of work on the house, including multiple bedrooms, bathroom repairs, and even kitchen repairs that came up unexpectedly.
I still want to get more of my personal crafting finished early for Megaplex. The weeks are passing so quickly! I have been doing more drawing for stickers and buttons, but most are still in the lineart stages. My ability to prioritize could use more work
I’ve also been trimming some fabric to try making some partial fursuit parts to wear. For those not in the know, most furries in fact do not own fursuits. I know this, and honestly used to be a bit weirded out by them, even as someone attending cons. But lately I’ve been thinking about what I’d do if I made one, and I’ve been excited to give it a go. So hopefully my partner and I will be even fluffier in a few weeks!
I’m trying to do a bit more vlogging again, but I haven’t really given it the time and attention that it deserves. Still, I had some fun this week, and wanted to share some of what I’ve been up to.
Take it easy yall, and see you next week

Weird internet is interesting internet
Thankfully a positive: a story of someone who already respected the culture before buying the piece, had the resources to determine that it was authentic, and had the ethics to repatriate it as opposed to try to make private wealth out of it.
Thank you for some software millionaires who use their money for good and not bad, like their old business partner. RIP

I was sent this animation by a friend, and it’s embarrassing how well I was seen there
This was not nearly as bad as I’d assumed, for the creator and for the topic. It’s not like it was the most nuanced take, but I assumed it’d be a very, “look at how weird and awful these people are” as usual.
I love being reminded of how things were early on, before all of the centralized social media platforms.
An adorable cartoon style based on a Chinese manhua

I feel this pain, even in this newsletter. Personal branding feels like a necessary evil at times
I would never see anything on Twitter if not for the vxtwitter/fxtwitter tools. Thank you for trying to open things up a bit
If you made it this far, why not share this newsletter with a friend? Or share with me some of the things that you found that you liked this week. Either way, I’m thrilled!
