This week I’ve been working on some new websites. For clients. But I wonder if I should work on another site for myself.
I know, I do that a lot. So many sites! It’s the curse of enjoying making sites. But I also have reason now!
I have done a lot of work this week on my Digital Garden plugin for WordPress. I’m nearing the point of making premium features, for a pro add-on to the main plugin. At that point, I should probably have a site to promote it, show how to use it, and to let people buy it.
I’m not really sure how I’ll be promoting something like this. These days I’ve kinda left public spaces that the WordPress community meets. Mainly because they’ve not yet left Twitter it seems, and too much is spaces controlled by the WordPress co-founder who is still making it hard to stay around.
Anyway! I’m gonna make a website for this. Which means I need to choose a name for branding…

If you do it for the love of it, you will be appreciated.

This video is great in how critical it is, but how fair it is as well. In that the cars are shit and buying one now is even more shit.

I love Felicia Day and Ashly Burch. And that they talk openly about things like burnout and what they’ve done about it.

Nintendo still seems to work differently than other game developers, and I don’t know how to make it work where companies actually respect employees, but respect consumers as well.
