Making GameBoy games as picture frames

I’m back with a new crafting video! I’ve had this idea for a while to make my own fun picture frames. I’m starting with nerdy things that I wanted to do for last year’s 90’s theme at Megaplex. I guess I’ll continue to be behind the curve πŸ˜…

I already have ideas on improving them, including better glue for the backing, and doing a spray finish to give them just a bit of a shine and protection.

After that, I want to repurpose the tamagotchi keychains that I was making to be little picture frames for something cute like tiny portraits.

I’m getting this newsletter done last minute before I go spend the day with my puppy today. I think that we’re gonna go to the zoo and get some lunch from a food hall. I’m looking forward to a fun day out!

Have yourselves a lovely weekend, and enjoy the video!

Always entertaining and informative to learn about how to submit emoji and how they are used.

Louis is made for a different age, and unfortunately is not well equipped for the world in which a gotcha no longer works.

I don’t want to lose the open web.

I know that it’s clickbaity, but cmon, we know why furries lust over Tony the Tiger, right? And that most of this is a joke. And that it was basically started by non furries as a joke about furries.

Tom Scott is back on YouTube! And can make something like bell casting interesting enough for me to watch for a half hour.

We all want the village. So let’s be good villagers to one another.

I like this new podcast idea. I am interested in creatives sharing how they think about what they do.

This is obvious, but as above, the gotcha system really doesn’t work anymore.

I think that we’ll find some balance, with how big the internet is. But I also believe that the pressure put by big tech will make it harder to find that balance.

We need to push back against ICE somehow, and showing what they are actually like is one thing to get the people who aren’t already ready to get rid of them.

If you made it this far, why not share this newsletter with a friend? Or share with me some of the things that you found that you liked this week. Either way, I’m thrilled!
