david wolfpaw • 23 Aug 2025 • Reading time: 5 minsOne week away! Megaplex, that is. I’m still very not ready, but I’m getting there. I’ll likely not post a newsletter next week, or at least not a detailed one, since I’ll be doing activities with friends in town for the con.
I have still not finished my full fursuit or the partial fursuit for my partner. But that’s my focus for the day, and I’ve pushed off a bit of non-emergency client work to focus.
I’ve got some new stickers cut and more designs! I’m also making a few prints and bookmarks. And probably more! These are things that I can do with partial focus, though admittedly the process is still very, very manual. I doubt that I’ll update equipment anytime soon, but if this becomes a more substantial business in the future, I’ll be looking into that.
None of the designs will be available on my shop, Barks’ Cafe, until the week after Megaplex ends. I want to ensure that I have enough stock, as well as some good pictures. Plus, I just don’t have time to do it all beforehand and not worry about getting orders on a new launch while I’m away!

We’ve found that one of the top 100k sites that were scraped was the media server for tech.lgbt, which sucks considering we specifically signed the fedipact to block Meta as soon as it was setup.
One can only hope that he loses it all for real. And never speaks in public again.
The websites are here, but the friction in comparison to social media is what makes them feel invisible.
