I cover it all in my vlog. But since I know you subscribe for written words, not spoken, I’ll write.
Earlier this week Lisa took me to Atlanta so that we could see Starbomb do a live show. It was a lot of fun! Before that we spent the day at the Atlanta Zoo, got some delicious meals, and did some nerdy shopping.
Right before we left, I got an email from a client detailing how their business had been gutted by AI LLM tools, and a request to start winding down their site, with an intention of shutting down by the end of the year.
I can’t imagine how hard this has to be for them, and this is not the first client who has had this happen. A similar issue happened earlier in the pandemic, where several clients shut down when their physical stores or non-profits went under.
I don’t really know what I’m doing next. I have been trying to think of how to diversify my earnings with new projects, but I’ve never been very good at selling myself, to be honest. And if you’ve been around me long enough, you know that this is an ongoing concern.
So hey, if you know of anyone needing website help, send them my way! If you’ve got any other job opportunities in mind, I’m looking to try a bunch of things!
